Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an ASE Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems in a fast-paced shop environment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer communication.

Responsibilities include initiating work orders, performing MPI, and maintaining shop standards. The successful candidate will hold relevant ASE certifications and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• Reads, analyzes, and interprets technical instructions and procedures.
• Explains vehicle information to customers clearly.
• Diagnoses and recommends solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interprets written, oral, and diagram instructions for vehicle service.
• Performs automotive services listed in the ASE scope as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems per VIP standards.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is created before service start.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return unused parts to Desk Team after service completion.
• Maintain safety and a clean, organized shop environment.
• Remain compliant with laws and VIP procedures during all work.
