Job summary

VIP Tires & Service seeks an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, and under-hood maintenance with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes proper service work orders, MPI checks, and adherence to VIP quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

The position requires completion of necessary LMS training and ASE certifications, with a standard 5-day work week and 40 hours.

Qualifications

Read, analyze and interpret technical instructions, procedures, or regulations.
Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and accurately.
Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
Maintain ASE certifications and state inspections as required.
Completion of two-year college or technical program recommended.

Responsibilities

Provide automotive repair and maintenance services including tires, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments and preventive maintenance.
Ensure Service Work Orders are initiated and displayed during service.
Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the shop.
Complete required training and certifications for the position.
Participate in team meetings and adhere to VIP processes and ethics.
Road-test vehicles when needed to ensure safety and drive quality.
