Job summary
VIP, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, and under-hood maintenance, while following VIP safety and quality standards.
The role requires physical work in a shop environment, adherence to service work orders, and participation in ongoing training and certifications. Eligible candidates will have at least 1 year of automotive service experience, with a recommended two-year technical program; valid driver’s license is required, and ASE certifications
Qualifications
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, and procedures.
- Explain vehicle information clearly to customers.
- Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
- Completion of required and LMS training; ASE/G1/A4/A5 certifications encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive tire, fluid, and basic maintenance services.
- Ensure safety policies are followed and work orders are initiated and displayed.
- Maintain work area, tools, and shop cleanliness; handle parts appropriately.
- Comply with VIP safety, loss prevention, and service standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification requirements.
