Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, under-hood maintenance, and MPIs while maintaining safety and quality. You will ensure proper work orders, participate in the 5-for-5 engagement, and uphold VIP procedures. ASE certifications and ongoing training are encouraged.

Work is non-exempt and hourly, with a standard 5-day, 40-hour week and a focus on safe, first-time-right service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, or regulations
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers
• Diagnose and recommend automotive solutions
• Understand and apply written and verbal instructions
• Perform automotive services listed in responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as priority; follow all safety policies and training
• Provide tire services, oil changes, MPIs, wheel alignments and preventive maintenance
• Initiate and display Service Work Orders before servicing a vehicle
• Complete MPIs and participate in the 5-for-5 customer engagement process
• Manage parts through Desk Team and return unused parts after service
• Return cores, batteries, and used tires to designated areas
• Maintain minimum 50% productivity over 16 weeks
• Follow VIP quality standards and complete required training and ASE certifications
• Adhere to VIP processes and participate in team meetings as needed
