Job summary

VIP Tires & Service is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, and under-hood maintenance with a focus on safety and quality. You will ensure proper service documentation, participate in customer engagement, and uphold VIP standards.

Role requires ASE certifications, driver’s license, and the ability to complete required training. Work is performed in a shop environment with a standard 40-hour week on-site.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service.
• Two-year college or technical school is recommended.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Equipment Safety Certification is required.
• ASE G1, A4 and A5 certifications preferred.
• State Inspection License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety policies and report hazards.
• Provide tire, oil, MPI, wheel alignment, and preventive maintenance services.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed during service.
• Complete MPIs and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
• Return parts to the Desk Team after service completion.
• Keep workspace clean and safe; follow waste disposal requirements.
• Complete required training and state certifications.
