Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire, oil, under-hood, MPI, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance services. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and accurate work orders.

Expected to complete required LMS training, maintain certifications (G1, A4, A5, TPMS, BATS), and participate in the 5-for-5 process while upholding VIP quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

One year of related experience in automotive service field
Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Provide automotive repair and maintenance services including tire services, oil changes, under-hood services (batteries, filters, bulbs, wipers, etc.), MPIs, wheel alignments and preventive maintenance services
Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated prior to initiating service on a vehicle and displayed with the vehicle while serviced
Ensure an MPI is completed prior to initiating service on every vehicle and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety and loss-prevention programs
Maintain shop equipment and participate in daily/weekly maintenance programs
Maintain and renew ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and other required licenses as per VIP policy
