Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to perform tire services, oil changes, MPI inspections, and other under-hood tasks. The role emphasizes safety, accurate paperwork, and adherence to VIP quality standards.

You will maintain shop cleanliness, handle parts responsibly, and support customer engagement initiatives while earning ASE certifications and maintaining a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include road-testing after service, following safety procedures, and completing

Qualifications

Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
Explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers
Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems
Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to perform required automotive services listed above

Responsibilities

Provide automotive repair and maintenance services: Tire Services, Oil Changes, Under hood Services, MPIs, Wheel Alignments, Preventive Maintenance
Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed during service
Complete MPI prior to initiating service and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process
Return and manage parts and cores responsibly; maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop
Road test vehicles as needed to verify safe operation
