Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an ASE Technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on vehicles in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency, with focus on proper documentation and customer engagement. The technician will work on engines, transmissions, suspension and braking systems, and electrical components while upholding VIP’s standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, and procedures.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Interpret, understand, and apply written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on automotive systems per VIP standards.
• Advise customers on vehicle conditions and recommended services.
• Ensure Service Work Orders are created and displayed during service.
• Complete required training and maintain ASE certifications as assigned.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area.
• Meet productivity targets and follow 5-for-5 customer engagement processes.
