Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles at our Missouri stores. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities to train others and contribute to service goals.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of lube/tire/service technician experience, Missouri MV inspection license, and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
• Current Motor Vehicle Inspection License (for Missouri based stores).
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to move and position self to move and retrieve product and supplies from shelves, under counters, or stacks of inventory weighing 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end and alignment maintenance and related mechanical work.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring quality control of shop functions.
• Train and coach other employees following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain orderly flow of customer service to ensure productivity.
• Extend Big O’s Extra Care Services to customers.
• Meet budgeted service, sales and productivity goals.
