Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in Missouri stores. You will perform brake, front-end, and mechanical work while following company programs and procedures, and you’ll participate in training and quality control to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires experience as a lube/tire/service technician, a Missouri MV inspection license, and the ability to work with customers and equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
• Current Missouri motor vehicle inspection license.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end and alignment maintenance and related mechanical work per company policies.
• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles and ensure quality control of shop functions.
• Train and coach other employees per company programs.
• Maintain orderly flow of customer service and ensure productivity.
• Promote Big O Extra Care Services to customers.
• Attend weekly store meetings to review policies and product changes.
• Work with management to meet service-related quotas.
• Ensure information for completed work is provided for invoicing.
