Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking an Automotive Technician for its Big O Tires stores in Missouri. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles to meet company standards and quality control expectations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of lube/tire/service experience, MO vehicle inspection licensing, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced shop environment with growth opportunities. This on-site position supports customer service and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician
• Current Missouri Vehicle Inspection License (for Missouri stores)
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end and alignment maintenance per company programs and procedures
• Diagnose and repair vehicles and ensure quality control of shop functions
• Train and coach other employees as directed
• Maintain orderly flow of customer service to ensure productivity
• Extend Big O’s Extra Care Services to all customers
• Attend weekly store meetings to review safety, policies and product information changes
• Work with management to meet service-related quotas and complete invoicing information
• Utilize company purchase programs to maximize profitability
• Complete training such as Today’s Class Technician and vehicle inspection program
• Achieve established service, sales and productivity goals
