Job summary

Big O Tires in Warrensburg, MO is seeking Automotive Technicians with 2+ years of experience in lube/tire/service. You will perform brake and alignment work, diagnose and repair vehicles, and train others while maintaining efficient shop operations.

We value ASE certifications, ability to work in varied weather, and strong customer communication. This role requires 18+ and MO MV inspection license where applicable, with eligibility for pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
• Current Motor Vehicle Inspection License (Missouri stores).
• Ability to learn concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and office equipment.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to communicate with customers in English.
• Ability to meet pre-employment screenings and legal work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end and alignment maintenance and other mechanical work per company programs.
• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles, ensuring quality control of shop functions.
• Train and coach other employees as directed.
• Maintain orderly flow of customer service to ensure productivity.
• Extend Big O’s Extra Care Services to customers.
• Attend weekly store meetings on safety, policies, and product changes.
• Work with management to meet service-related quotas and budgeting.
• Provide complete and accurate information for invoicing.
