Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our Omaha OR team. You will support nurses and surgeons, prepare equipment, and help deliver the highest standard of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

We value dedication, continuous learning, and teamwork. Candidates should have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program; certification is preferred or obtained within 6 months. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
• Certification preferred or commitment to obtain within 6 months.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

You Will Make An Impact By

• Assisting the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care available.
• Acquiring and maintaining current knowledge in surgical technologist practice.
• Assisting in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards and center policies and procedures.
• Preparing equipment and aiding surgeon during treatment and examination of patients.

You Have

• Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology.
• Certification preferred, or commitment to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
• Previous experience preferred
