Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision Surgery Center Bozeman LLC is seeking a PRN Surgical Technician to join our team in January 2027, with the center opening in February 2027. You will assist nurses and physicians to deliver the highest standard of patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates who completed an approved Surgical Technology program or hold Ophthalmic Assistant or Ophthalmic Surgical Assisting certifications will be considered; training is possible for the right person.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology.
• In lieu of formal education, Ophthalmic Assistant certification or Ophthalmic Surgical Assisting certification may be considered.
• Management is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care.
• Acquiring and maintaining current knowledge in surgical technologist practice.
• Organizing and daily functioning of the operating room in accordance with standards and policies.
• Preparing equipment and aiding the surgeon during treatment and examination of patients.

Education

Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology

Ophthalmic Assistant certification

Ophthalmic Surgical Assisting certification
