Vance Thompson Vision Surgery Center Bozeman LLC is seeking a Part Time Surgical Technician to join our team in January 2027 as we prepare for a February 2027 center opening in Bozeman, MT. The role supports nurses and physicians, ensuring high standards of patient care and efficient OR operations.

Ideal candidates have completed an approved Surgical Technology program; certification as Ophthalmic Assistant or Ophthalmic Surgical Assisting is a strong plus, with management also considering

Qualifications

• Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology.
• In lieu of formal education, Ophthalmic Assistant certification and Ophthalmic Surgical Assisting certification may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the nurses and physicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge in surgical technologist practice.
• Assist in organizing and daily function of the operating room in accordance with standards and center policies.
• Prepare equipment and aid the surgeon during treatment and examination of patients.
