Job summary

Vance Thompson Vision in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our team. You will assist nurses and physicians, maintain scrub tech standards, and support daily OR operations.

We value compliant, patient-centered care and ongoing learning. Candidates should complete an approved Surgical Technology program; Ophthalmic certifications may be considered. This is a full-time role offering a supportive culture and opportunities for advancement in a leading vision care group.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved school of Surgical Technology.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care available.
• Acquiring and maintaining current knowledge in surgical technologist practice.
• Assisting in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards and center policies and procedures.
• Preparing equipment and aiding surgeon during treatment and examination of patients.
