Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Asbestos Analyst in Folsom, CA. The role centers on analyzing bulk samples using PLM for asbestos, with responsibilities including data entry in LIMS, QA, and coordinating workload to meet due dates. Relocation assistance is available for experienced candidates.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of asbestos microscopy experience and a relevant science degree, with English proficiency and authorization to work in the U.S. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing asbestos microscopy (2-3 years ideal).
• Must be able to work in Folsom, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or closely related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Maintain QA processes and assist in accreditation efforts.
• Coordinate and manage projects to meet due dates and rush status.
