Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing in Folsom, CA is seeking an experienced Asbestos Analyst to perform PLM analysis of bulk samples, prepare environmental specimens, and ensure quality control within compliant laboratory practices.

The role requires asbestos microscopy experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and US work authorization. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, with potential for overtime and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of asbestos microscopy experience (2–3 years ideal).
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or closely related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Maintain QA processes and support lab accreditations as needed.
• Coordinate sample workload and ensure timely delivery.
