Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking an Asbestos Analyst in Folsom, CA. You will analyze bulk samples using PLM for asbestos and enter data into the LIMS, supporting QA and client reporting. Travel for training may be required and you will help coordinate workload and deadlines.

The role requires 0-1+ years of asbestos microscopy, a science degree, and English proficiency. Competitive benefits and full-time hours are offered.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of asbestos microscopy experience; 2-3 years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• English reading, writing and speaking at professional level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze asbestos samples using PLM.
• Enter analytical data into the LIMS and report to clients.
• Perform data reviews and QA activities as needed.
• Coordinate workload and training activities for the team.
• Assist in maintaining lab accreditations and equipment.
