Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Analyst to perform analysis of bulk samples for asbestos using polarized light microscopy, with additional experience in fungi a plus. The role includes validating data, uploading results to the LIMS, and reporting to clients.

You will coordinate workload to meet due dates and ensure adherence to QA standards. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology/Biology/Geology or related science and 1–2 years of lab experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Geology or a closely related science.
1–2 years of lab work experience involving mold and/or asbestos microscopy analysis.
8+ microbiology units preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze aerobiological, environmental, and water samples for fungal, asbestos and bacteria analysis.
Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS with accuracy.
Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
Conduct QC and proficiency testing on reference materials as needed.
Assist in pursuing and maintaining laboratory accreditations and QA documentation.
Coordinate and manage projects to meet rush and due dates.
