Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking an Asbestos Analyst in Tustin, CA. The role focuses on PLM analysis of asbestos samples and data management in a compliant laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate will have 0-1+ years’ PLM asbestos microscopy experience, a science degree, U.S. work authorization, and strong English communication skills. Flexible travel for training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, geology or a closely related science.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze aerobiological and environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for other analysts’ work.
• Assist QA manager in development and data collection of QA processes.
• Coordinate and manage projects to meet rush deadlines.
