Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is hiring a PLM Analyst (Polarizing Light Microscope) to prepare and analyze environmental samples with asbestos focus. You will validate data, upload reports via LIMS, and support QA processes in a full‑time role in Colorado.

The role requires 1–3 years of laboratory experience, color discernment, and strong English communication. Training and schedule align with lab operations, including shifts Tue–Sat.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years laboratory experience.
• Proficient with computers and software.
• Must be able to multitask effectively.
• Ability to distinguish colors is required for analysis.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples for asbestos.
• Enter data into LIMS and report data to clients.
• Perform independent QC analyses on peers’ work.
• Analyze reference materials and proficiency samples as needed.
• Assist QA manager with QA processes and documentation.
• Coordinate projects by rush status and due times for timely delivery.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure a safe workspace.
• Train new asbestos testing analysts as required.
