Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing East, LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform polarized light microscopy analysis of asbestos samples. The role includes data entry in the LIMS, data reviews, and QA support in a full-time day shift.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related science and 2–3 years of lab experience with asbestos or microscopy. Strong accuracy and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Geology, or closely related science.
• 2-3 years laboratory work experience involving asbestos or microscopy analysis preferred.
• Experience with polarized light microscopy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze asbestos samples.
• Enter and report analytical data using the LIMS.
• Perform independent data reviews for others’ work.
• Support QA tasks and documentation.
