Cognizant seeks a Project Manager with AS/400 Applications to lead complex delivery, modernization, and upgrades for Property and Casualty Insurance systems.

You will partner with development, QA, business analysis, architecture and insurance stakeholders to translate policy administration, claims and billing requirements into actionable user stories and technical specs, and drive release readiness and post-production stability.

Formación

• 15+ years of technology experience including managing complex enterprise application projects or large portfolios.
• Strong PM experience across planning, financials, resources, risk, stakeholder communication, QA, and releases.
• Working knowledge of AS/400 ecosystem with SQLRPGLE, RPGLE, Db2 for i, CLP, RPG, and AS/400 utilities.
• Experience leading legacy app enhancements, transformation, or modernization in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance processes: policy administration, claims, billing.
• Experience applying predictive, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies to complex tech programs.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of AS/400 application projects, including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and milestones.
• Oversee development, enhancement, and modernization initiatives involving AS/400 technologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to protect delivery goals.
• Translate policy administration, claims, and billing requirements into user stories and technical specs.
• Manage quality, change, and release activities; establish acceptance criteria and validate post-production stability.
• Provide clear project reporting on progress, financials, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, information security, data protection, and audit requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned to AS/400 delivery processes.
