Zusammenfassung

Cognizant is seeking a Project Manager with AS/400 Applications to lead complex delivery, modernization, and enhancement initiatives for Property and Casualty insurance operations. You will collaborate with developers, QA, BAs, architects, and insurance stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions.

You will drive end-to-end planning, manage risks, coordinate cross-functional teams, translate policy/claims/billing requirements into user stories, and ensure quality and compliance across delivery

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of technology experience managing complex enterprise application projects.
• Proven planning, budgeting, resource coordination, risk management, and release delivery.
• Deep knowledge of AS/400 ecosystem: SQLRPGLE, RPGLE, Db2 for i, CLP, RPG, AS/400 utilities.
• Experience leading modernization initiatives in an enterprise setting.
• Understanding of Property and Casualty insurance processes (policy, claims, billing).
• Experience applying predictive, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of AS/400 application projects, including scope definition, schedules, resource plans, budgets, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Oversee application development, enhancement, and modernization initiatives involving SQLRPGLE, RPGLE, Db2 for i, CLP, RPG, and AS/400 utilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to protect delivery timelines, scope, budget, and quality commitments.
• Partner with Property and Casualty Insurance stakeholders to translate policy administration, claims, and billing requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
• Manage quality, change, release, and deployment activities by establishing acceptance criteria, reviewing test strategies, coordinating release plans, and validating post-production stability.
• Provide clear and concise project reporting to business and technology stakeholders, covering delivery progress, financial performance, risks, dependencies, and required decisions.
• Ensure project activities comply with enterprise architecture, information security, data protection, documentation, and audit requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying lessons learned and addressing recurring constraints within AS/400 application delivery processes.
