Cognizant is seeking a Project Manager for AS/400 Applications to lead complex delivery, modernization, and enhancements for Property and Casualty insurance operations. You will collaborate with development, QA, analytics, and architecture teams to ensure reliable enterprise solutions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination, with a hybrid work model and potential remote options based on client requirements.

Qualifications

• More than 15 years in technology leading complex enterprise projects.
• Strong project-management end-to-end experience: planning, budgeting, risk, releases.
• Deep knowledge of the AS/400 ecosystem and related tooling.
• Experience guiding legacy modernization in large organizations.
• Understanding of Property and Casualty insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of AS/400 projects with scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Oversee development, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Translate insurance requirements into actionable user stories and specs.
• Manage quality, releases, and post-production validation with clear metrics.
• Provide regular delivery and financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and audit needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in AS/400 delivery processes.
