Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking a motivated Food Service Territory Manager to lead sales in your assigned territory, focusing on specialty and artisan foods. You’ll build relationships with chefs, cheesemongers, and foodservice professionals while presenting product demos and attending trade shows.

You’ll manage current accounts, develop new business, and drive growth through commissions and incentives.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the foodservice industry.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• College degree preferred but not required; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell artisanal food items to chefs, culinarians, and foodservice pros.
• Cultivate relationships with artisan manufacturers for new specialty items.
• Manage inherited and new customers; schedule visits and product demos.
• Be your own boss with a flexible schedule to maximize territory impact.
• Grow sales through commissions and performance incentives.
• Participate in marketing events, tastings, and trade shows.
