Gourmet Foods International is seeking a Food Service Territory Manager to lead sales in the Charlotte, NC region, focusing on artisanal and specialty foods. You will develop relationships with cheesemongers, culinarians, and chefs, manage a self-driven schedule, and drive growth through commissions.

The role offers a base salary of $75,000–$90,000 with performance bonuses, travel, and company benefits including tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a passion for artisan and specialty foods.
• 2-5 years of experience in the foodservice industry; highly organized and self-motivated.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell local, artisanal, specialty food items to cheesemongers, culinarians, and chefs.
• Invite clients to company events, communicate the latest technologies & online ordering platforms, and win company promotions in the form of monetary payouts and trips to culinary/artisan producer destinations around the globe.
• Cultivate relationships with artisan manufacturers to bring new specialty items to Gourmet Foods International.
• Manage inherited customers and prospect new customers.
• Plan and execute a self‑managed schedule to maximize customer visits and prospecting.
• Reap the benefits of sales growth through increased commissions.
