Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking a driven Food Service Territory Manager to oversee all sales activities in a defined region, focusing on specialty and artisan foods. You will visit chefs, culinarians, and restaurant buyers, present products, and close deals.

You will cultivate relationships with artisan suppliers, manage existing accounts and prospect new ones, and work with events, tastings, and product demonstrations to grow revenue and share.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in the foodservice industry.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a fast-paced, independent schedule.

Responsibilities

• Present, and sell artisanal and specialty foods to chefs and foodservice buyers.
• Invite clients to events, demos, and tastings to drive promotions.
• Cultivate relationships with artisan manufacturers and suppliers.
• Manage inherited accounts and prospect new customers to grow sales.
• Schedule and conduct customer visits to present solutions and close deals.
• Travel within the assigned territory to build lasting relationships.
