Job summary

The Green Family Art Foundation, based in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a part-time Visitor Services Associate for its exhibition space. The role emphasizes welcoming visitors, answering questions and ensuring the space remains orderly and compliant with exhibition policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring artwork, maintaining guestbooks and visitor counts, opening/closing the space per security protocols and coordinating with the foundation and collection staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university (preferred).
• Background in art history, fine art, museum, galleries or auction houses (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the exhibition space is clean and visitors follow the rules during regular hours and events.
• Monitor and keep artwork safe while the space is open.
• Greet visitors, answer questions and maintain guestbook entries and tracking visitor counts.
• Open and close the space according to security protocols.
• Communicate regularly with Green Family Foundation and collection staff.
