Job summary

The San Antonio Museum of Art is seeking a Visitor Experience Associate to greet guests, assist shoppers, and promote memberships and events. This part-time, non-exempt role supports daily shop operations and contributes to a positive visitor experience.

You will handle sales at the Museum Shop and Front Desk, stock displays, manage inventory, and help fulfill online orders, collaborating with the Visitor Experience team to ensure excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Cash handling, customer service and retail experience required.
• Computer literacy and ability to use POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and shoppers.
• Process sales transactions and manage inventory for the shop.
• Open and close the shop, ensure clean, organized displays.
• Assist with online orders and merchandise promotions as needed.
• Collaborate with the Visitor Experience team and management.
