Job summary

ArtPride New Jersey Foundation is seeking a Gallery Host to support daily operations across the Welcome Center, Coat Check, and Galleries, delivering warm, engaging service to visitors and donors. You will greet guests, answer questions about the collection and programs, help with wayfinding, ensure safety and museum policies, and participate in daily briefings and trainings.

This role requires availability Thursday through Sunday, 12:00pm–5:00pm, and a willingness to learn about the museum's

Qualifications

• Welcoming, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all visitors in galleries.
• Monitor gallery activity and enforce museum policies.
• Answer questions about wayfinding, collections, facilities, programs, and events.
• Respond to visitor queries with friendly, attentive service.
• Attend briefings and trainings and assist with gallery materials.
