Job summary

Mercy Health in Richmond, VA is seeking a Registered Mammography Technologist (R.T.(M)(ARRT)) for PRN scheduling. The role performs high-quality breast imaging and DEXA scans following ARRT/ACR/MQSA guidelines, supporting radiologists in invasive procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.

Certification in ARRT Diagnostic Radiology is required; advanced mammography registration is preferred or must be obtained within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or ARRT accredited program (preferred).
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification/registration required.
• Advanced Mammography registration preferred or to be obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs all breast imaging and DEXA procedures.
• Assists radiologist in invasive breast procedures with aseptic technique.
