Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Director of Business Development for the U.S. Army to lead multi‑year capture efforts, shape requirements, and build deep buyer relationships across Army offices, primes, and end users.

This role offers up to 50% travel, remote work eligibility, and a base salary of $180k–$200k with commissions and strong growth potential. You will drive strategic pursuits from identification to award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive defense background.
• Proven ability to lead all phases of business capture (whitepapers, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, teaming).
• Deep understanding of U.S. Army acquisition processes and DoD funding cycles.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and drive the capture process for large-scale U.S. Army programs.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with all buying influences on assigned programs.
• Influence technical requirements and position MN-MIMO technology as a critical component.
• Manage multi-year pursuits from identification to proposal and award.
• Collaborate with MDE and Account Sales for smooth transition to execution.
• Stay updated on market trends and funding priorities to inform capture strategy.
• Travel up to 50% to engage customers and advance company goals.
