Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality security services on a rotating shift at a client site. The role acts as the liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager and officers, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment ranges.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to handle crisis situations, and experience with security operations and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate staffing needs to Account/Operations Manager.
• Train and develop officers, address grievances with HR support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager and security officers.
• Coach, recognize, and discipline officers within empowerment range.
• Identify staffing needs and communicate them on shift.
• Ensure officers receive training and adhere to safety programs.
• Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles; maintain inventories.

Education
