Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a security team on a designated shift at a client site. The role involves coordinating with site supervisors, Account Managers, and officers to deliver high-quality protective services and maintain safety standards.

The position requires strong communication, crisis-management abilities, and the capacity to supervise training, equipment, and safety programs while ensuring compliant operations on site.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws
• Background investigation and drug screening required
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and communication
• Intermediate computer skills to operate client-specific systems
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to management
• Ensure officers receive training and professional development
• Oversee safety programs and site-specific hazards

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security services on a specific shift
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and officers
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range
• Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles at the account
• Ensure training and professional development of security staff
• Communicate shift staffing needs to management and report issues
• Administer JSA and safety programs for site hazards
• Maintain appropriate inventories and vehicle safety procedures
• Operate in various environments and handle physical requirements
