Job summary

Allied Universal seeks an experienced Armed Security Shift Supervisor to lead on-site security operations for diverse clients. You will supervise armed officers, coordinate patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents and emergencies.

Qualifications

State armed guard license/permit (where required).
Valid firearms permit and ongoing weapons qualification.
Completion of security officer training program.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
Defensive tactics or de-escalation training preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise armed security officers during assigned shifts.
Ensure post orders, safety protocols, and client procedures are followed.
Monitor access control, patrols, and incident response activities.
Conduct shift briefings, inspections, and reports documentation.
Respond to emergencies, de-escalate situations, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
Train, coach, and mentor security staff on policies and best practices.
Communicate with clients and management on security issues and service quality.
Review incident reports and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
