Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee quality security services on a designated shift at a client site. You will supervise officers, coordinate with site leadership, and act as a liaison with the Account/Operations Manager to ensure responsive, professional service.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to handle crisis situations, and readiness to work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate staffing needs to Account/Operations Manager.
• Ensure officers receive training and professional development.
• Grievances are heard with HR support and management guidance.
• Administer JSA’s and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards.
• Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, and vehicles at the account.
• Able to work in varying environments and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift and coach performance.
• Coordinate with site supervisor and Account Manager/Operations Manager.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and security officers.
• Ensure safety programs and JSA compliance for the shift.
• Manage uniforms, equipment, and vehicles on the account.
