Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned client site. The role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and the security officers on duty.

You will mentor staff, provide coaching and recognition, address discipline within approved empowerment ranges, and help manage training, safety programs, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills for client-site technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly.
• Ability to communicate staffing needs to supervisory staff.
• Ensure officers receive training and development.
• Manage grievances with HR support and supervisors.
• Administer safety programs and site hazards.
