Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee service delivery on a designated shift at a Huntsville, AL client site. You will supervise officers, coordinate with the site supervisor and Account Manager, and ensure quality, safety, and professionalism on shift.

Required: 21+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, crisis management, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• Background check and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager.
• Assist with training, development, and performance of officers.
• Administer JSAs and safety programs outlining site hazards for officers.
• Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles at the account.
• Able to work in varied environments; lift up to 40 pounds; climb stairs; stand/walk long periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security officers on the assigned shift.
• Liaise between site supervisor, Account Manager, and officers to ensure service quality.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.
