Job summary

Allied Universal, Ridley Park, PA, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control to monitor access points, perform armed patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service in a demanding aerospace/defense environment.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, maintaining compliance with laws and company policies, and working a full-time daytime/overnight schedule. Must have Act 235 PA qualification and prior security experience.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site policies and emergency procedures at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication to site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and comply with laws and Allied Universal policies.
