Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Ridley Park, PA. You will monitor access points, conduct armed patrols, and provide professional security services at a major aerospace/defense location.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, maintaining credentials, and ensuring safety while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires relevant experience and PA Act 235 qualification where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• PA Act 235 qualification.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Ridley Park, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned protective equipment and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
