Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Ridley Park, PA. You will monitor access points, conduct armed patrols, and provide professional security services at a major aerospace/defense location.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, maintaining credentials, and ensuring safety while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires relevant experience and PA Act 235 qualification where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• PA Act 235 qualification.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the aerospace/defense site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor restricted areas and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and comply with laws and policies.
