Allied Universal® is hiring a Part-Time, Armed Security Officer in the Greater Harrisburg, PA area. You will provide security and customer service, patrol the site, deter incidents, and enforce site rules while maintaining access control.

The role requires Act 235 qualification for PA, a valid CCW if applicable, and at least 21 years old. Applicants should have 2+ years of armed security or related law enforcement experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years combined of Armed Security / Law Enforcement / Armed Corrections or the equivalent.
• PA Act 235 Qualification required for PA positions.
• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCW) if applicable, required for armed posts.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while performing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter.
• Preserve order, enforce directives, and protect site viability.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet and assist visitors, escort contractors, and control access points.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns and incidents in writing or verbally.
• Respond to alarms and act as a first responder when needed.
