Job summary

Allied Universal in Tremont, PA is seeking a Security Officer - Armed - Access Control and Patrol to safeguard clients across industries. This part-time armed role focuses on deterrence, customer service, and clear communication as you conduct patrols and enforce site rules.

Qualified candidates must have Act 235 in PA, a PA Concealed Carry permit, and 2+ years in security or law enforcement, or 3–5 years armed security experience.

Qualifications

• Actively provide excellent customer service while on site.
• Demonstrate strong communication and situational awareness.
• Maintain vigilance during patrols and enforce site rules.
• Be willing to travel up to 40 miles from the Tremont area.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems on site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Preserve order and enforce rules for site viability.
• Maintain proficiency with protective equipment and weapons.
• Greet and assist guests, escort visitors as needed.
• Follow post orders and report safety concerns promptly.
• Respond to alarms and provide first aid as necessary.
