Job summary

Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security at courthouses under the USMS contract. CSOs perform entry control, roving patrols, stationary posts, escorts, traffic control, and enforce federal law to protect people and property.

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for the past five years.
• DOJ security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Graduation from a certified law enforcement training academy.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control using security screening equipment and verify access.
• Roaming patrol of court facilities and grounds per post orders.
• Operate stationary posts including CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court staff as required.
• Direct traffic and manage parking at court facilities.
• Enforce federal law and judicial orders to maintain safety.
• Prepare reports on incidents, hours worked, and contract performance.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and support courtroom operations.
