Job summary

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers (CSOs) to provide armed security for courthouses under the USMS contract. Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, escort duties, traffic control, and enforcing federal law within court facilities.

Qualified candidates will have a GED or higher, at least three years of verifiable law-enforcement or military security experience, and valid driver’s license along with DOJ clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of verifiable law-enforcement or military security experience within last seven years.

Responsibilities

• Enforce entry control and screen for weapons or prohibited items.
• Roving patrol of court facilities and grounds.
• Stationary post assignments with CCTV and alarm systems.
• Provide armed escort services for judges and court personnel as directed.
• Direct traffic and control lights on court facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and detain violations as needed.
• Prepare reports on contract performance and incidents.
• Ensure courtroom security before and during proceedings.
• Maintain order and protect court proceedings as circumstances dictate.
