Job summary

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security at courthouses under the USMS contract. The role includes entrance screening, roving and stationary post assignments, escort duties, and traffic/pedestrian control within court facilities.

• At least 3 years of verifiable law enforcement experience within the last 7 years with general arrest authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and inspect items to detect weapons or contraband.
• Roving patrol of court facilities and grounds.
• Maintain stationary posts and monitor security equipment and courtrooms.
• Provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, and others as directed.
• Direct traffic and control access on court facility properties.
• Enforce federal law and security procedures; detain unauthorized individuals.
