Walden Security is recruiting experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security to courthouses under the USMS contract. Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, escorts, traffic control, and enforcing federal law within court facilities.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of certified law enforcement or military equivalent, a valid driver's license, DOJ clearance, and completion of approved security training.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years as a certified law enforcement officer or its military equivalent within the last seven years.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English; able to interpret rules, regulations and procedures.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record for the past five years; DOJ clearance; certification from a certified law enforcement training academy.
• Must be at least 21 years old; able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must meet medical standards as specified by USMS; able to perform duties with reasonable accommodations if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform entrance control and screening to detect weapons, contraband and prohibited items.
• Rove court facilities and grounds according to post orders.
• Stand stationary posts, monitor CCTV, duress alarms and security equipment.
• Provide armed escort services for judges, court personnel, jurors, and other designated individuals.
• Direct traffic and control lights at court facilities as required.
• Enforce federal law and court rules within the facility and protect people and property.
• Prepare reports on contract performance issues, incidents, and security events.
• Secure unattended courtrooms and inspect courtrooms prior to proceedings and test security devices.
• Maintain courtroom security and enforce judicial orders as circumstances dictate.
