Job summary

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security at courthouses under the USMS contract. Duties include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary posts, and escorting judges and court personnel.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and verifiable law enforcement or military experience. Applicants must be 21+, pass background checks and drug screening, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English proficiently.
• High school diploma or GED required; verifiable security/LE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control using security screening equipment.
• Roaming patrols of court facilities and grounds.
• Stationary posts monitoring CCTV and security devices.
• Provide armed escort to judges and court personnel when directed.
• Direct traffic and manage parking/ pedestrian flow at court facilities.
• Enforce federal law and protect court personnel and proceedings.
• Prepare incident and activity reports for contract performance.
